My home town in 3D pixel art with google map API integrated!
Too bad they didn’t paint the full picture.
This video highlights social dynamics of a tribe at it’s best, it’s been going around major marketing and creative leaders of the industry.
It all starts with a crazy (ok ok, slightly out of mind) guy #1 dancing around, guy #2 (more or less still crazy) then joins in, but the best part is when guy #3 recognizes the potential and braves it to start the whole movement.
As Seth says: “Initiators are rare indeed, but it’s scary to be the leader. Guy #3 is rare too, but it’s a lot less scary and just as important. Guy #49 is irrelevant. No bravery points for being part of the mob.”
Halston’s brand new video Lookbook for their New York fall 09 collection.
Great shoot, great song, beautiful cars and props and the styling fits perfectly with the story.
Banksy’s exhibition at the Bristol Museum. 100 works will be shown and this quote of the master himself sums it up perfectly: “This is the first show I’ve ever done where taxpayers’ money is being used to hang my pictures up rather than scrape them off”.
Exhibition ends August 31st, anyone want a road trip?

I went with Cris to this “short and sweet” event yesterday, that showcases a series of short films / animations from established directors to breaking talent at cafe 1001 (Brick Lane) every Monday 7.30pm.
Below are a few examples of what they showed us yesterday:
Daniel Greaves‘ “Manipulation” (Founder of Tandem Films), made in 1991 with no computer aid at all, the whole animation took 2 years to complete?
Tomas Mankovsky’s “Sorry I’m Late” (Creative @ Fallon)
